Over the years I have represented buyers, sellers and lenders with regard to a variety of commercial transactions.

These have included resorts, hotels, motels, restaurants, ski areas, ski schools, glider centers and campgrounds; automobile, recreational vehicle and appliance dealerships and franchises; furniture stores, hardware stores, book stores, shoe stores and many other local retailers; software firms and cable TV systems; industrial parks; small manufacturers; sawmills; agricultural concerns; transportation firms; mobile home park cooperatives; shopping malls; large multi-family apartment projects; various contractors; medical practices, accounting firms and real estate brokers; and condominium and real estate developers.

Littleton Village.

Each presents a unique situation calling for different legal solutions.

Perhaps one of the most unique was the North Country's first FM radio station which I personally built, owned and operated.

On my own behalf, with the assistance of special communications counsel in Washington, I navigated the regulatory process administered by the Federal Communications Commission, obtained the license, constructed the station, operated it successfully myself for eight years, entered into one of the very first time brokerage agreements in the nation when the deregulation of commercial radio allowed such a thing, and eventually sold the station.  This first-hand experience as an entrepreneur provides me with some insights and helps me understand many of the issues, legal and otherwise, that confront small business people.

I look forward to bringing my practical experience and my legal skills to work on your commercial transaction.
